Payment operations
Payment processing built around the way your business is actually reviewed.
Civixora Systems gives merchants and operations teams one disciplined surface for application readiness, processor status, merchant controls, and reported settlement information. Acquiring and settlement remain with the licensed partner.
A clearer path from application to live processing
Merchant onboarding is more than a payment form. It requires a truthful business profile, website and product review, ownership evidence, payment history where relevant, and a clear record of what an acquiring partner needs to evaluate.
Civixora organizes that work before submission so merchants, compliance teams, and acquiring partners have the same view of readiness. A platform review does not replace an acquirer's underwriting decision.
Payment acceptance without custody
The V1 model is non-custodial. Customer payments settle directly from the upstream processor or acquirer to the approved merchant bank account. Civixora does not hold merchant funds or operate an FBO account.
The software layer is designed to track processor-reported payments, fees, reserves, holds, disputes, and reconciliation exceptions without creating a second ledger of customer card data.
- Hosted or tokenized payment collection through approved partners
- Merchant readiness and underwriting workflows
- Processor-reported settlement and reconciliation visibility
What Civixora owns, and what the partner owns
Civixora owns the operating software: review workflows, evidence tracking, access controls, integration readiness, audit history, and the reporting surface around processor activity.
The approved processor or acquirer owns the merchant account, underwriting decision, MCC, network access, reserves, holds, settlement instructions, and payment capability. Keeping those responsibilities visible is part of the product, not a disclaimer added after the fact.
- Civixora: readiness, controls, integration coordination, and operational records
- Processor or acquirer: approval, processing, settlement, reserves, and network rules
- Merchant: truthful information, approved operations, customer policies, and ongoing cooperation
Common questions
What does a payment gateway do in an embedded flow?
A gateway or hosted checkout component collects payment details in the approved payment environment and returns tokenized references or verified status for the merchant integration.
Does the gateway decide whether a merchant is approved?
No. The approved PayFac, PSP, processor, or acquirer owns merchant approval, capabilities, settlement, reserves, and network decisions.
